INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF PU FOAM GUN

Connection of the can

Shake well the foam can, remove the cap and screw the can on the gun. Spray some pu-cleaner on the adapter, the pu-cleaner sproy prevents a sticking of the superfluous foam on the adapter and facilitates to unscrew the can at a later time. The foam has the effect of an adhesive between the adapter and the can screwed on. Adapters which aren’t sprayed with silicone often can’t be removed.

If the can is not used at once, it is nevertheless recommended to pull the trigger and to fill the gun with foam. Due to this a hardening by the enclosed air will be prevented.

Change of the can

1. If the can is empty. It has to be placed standing upright with the gun. The remaining foam will drip on the bottom of the can.

2. Prepare a new can for montage. Shake well, remove the cap.

3. Unscrew the empty can in upright position. This position prevents the refilling of the adapter with the remaining foam. Make one rotation of the can, pull the trigger. Pay attention on the direction of the gun barrel. The escaping gas could contain still remaining foam from the gun.

Unscrewing the gun, the valve of the can will be shut and the pressure will be blocked. Activating the trigger, the pressure in the gun will be effective and possible remaining foam can’t return into the adapter.

4. Spray some pu-cleaner on the adapter. A possible contact with foam will be dissolved forming a non-sticking film. Screw on a new can.

Storing of the gun without adapting can

If the gun is not used for some time it must be cleaned with PRR cleaner.

Having unscrewed the empty can, PUR cleaner can be screwed on to the gun.

Pull the trigger some times very shortly to rinse competently the gun. Pay attention on the direction of spraying.

Leave aside the gun containing the PUR cleaner for some time (i.e during the nigiht) to allow the cleaner to act on the stuck foam. The can must be placed upright.

Pull then the trigger some times very shortly and release the dissolved foam.

The unscrewed can of PUR cleaner can be used also spraying can with a special valve for cleaning separately the adapter.

The gun can be stored without adapted can..

Reusing the gun, the same proceedings as to a new gun are to be observed.

If a can of foam will not be completely empty, it is possible to store it, adapted on the gun for some weeks.

Do not place upright a can of foam screwed on the gun. The gas contained in the can will escape little by little through the gun. When reusing it, there will be too less pressure of gas for spraying.

Caution!

Never store a gun in use without adapted can of foam. If the can is empty and there is no disposal of a new one, leave the empty can on the gun. The hardening of the remaining foam in the gun will be avoided with this.

Full cans which aren’t adapted on the gun, always must be stored upright.
